Take for instance the case of two dogs that had lived with each other since pups. One of them starting snapping at the other for what the owner's thought to be irrational, aggressive behavior in its old age. After bringing in an animal behaviorist they found out that the snapping dog was doing this to the other dog every time it sensed the dog was going to have a seizure. It snapped at him and stopped the seizure from happening. There are other cases as well that do not warrant euthanasia such as times when dogs are left with unsupervised children. The child hurts the animal then gets bit and well there goes Fido. Do I believe there are times when the only chose is euthanasia, "yes", but from what I've seen those are few and far in between.ELizabeth Callejanoreply@blogger.com
