I created two fliers today and forwarded them out on the 4 dogs I have had the longest. If I could get them into a home I would be so happy. 2 are older dogs which I think is causing them to be over looked but seriously they are two very nice dogs. Spotty is AWESOME and would make someone a great pet. Jeff he has lived on hell of a life and he could really use someone to love him forever.
The other 2 are young good dogs that just need a home. Housebroken, good with kids, fine with other dogs. Nice dogs!
I am going to do an adoption event but not till February. I really hope that some adoptions start to pan out soon. Poor dogs! They need homes...

I know that I can't do much to help you with all of the animal burdens that you carry...the best that I can do is pray that God will find them good homes and give you the strength that you need to continue to help these animals!
ReplyDeleteI am having the opposite trend. The rare dog was adopted in the summer but I seem to be adopting right and left this winter - mind you, my numbers are never huge but those who come in are going out and those who have been here are staying :(. I sent one foster for another rescue to a rescue in ME where she will have a better chance :). Keep up the good work - homes will come.
