Hi Amy! I would guess Red and Scout do, but I am just taking a guess.

Its such a good question to ask. Here in Lakewood it's illegal to have a pit bull unless you owned it before the law went into effect, and according to the law it's up to the warden's judgement to deem if a dog is a pitbull and can be taken away based on nothing but its looks. I understand what the original intent of the law was, but I also love pit bulls and know that its the people behind the aggressive dogs, not the dogs themselves that are the problem!

I say Scout has PB in him.

To me Red looks like he has the right type of ears but his face is all wrong. Petey doesn't look like a pitbull at all but instaed some sort of shepherd mix, the ears the face and the coat length all seem wrong. Scout has the right shape of face but the ears are too pointed. I would vote for Tyson, he has the folded ears and short snout and coat of a pitbull. Am I right?
This reminds me of the find the pitbull tests

None of them are Am Staffs, which is most often mistaken for a Pit Bull. But, I am a hound person....

As a pit owner, I'm not so sure that any of them are any more than 1/2 pit at the most.#1 has the broader head, but that can come from boxer or American bulldog. Tyson actually makes me think more boxer or even great dane. The other two look like shepherd mixes.

By the way, I've been following your blog for awhile, I'm new to rescue and live in Iowa, I've gotten great advice and encouragement from what you write, thanks for doing great work :)

They all look like they could have SOME pit in them, but none of them looks like 'pure' pit to me. Of course, I'm so used to seeing only mixes anymore that I think most anything that's pitty type is a mix. Heh.
