Part of what makes you strong enough to run this rescue is a solid relationship with your husband. When you turn your phone off to be with him for quality time you protect that bond, recharge the relationship and ultimately are able to reduce the burn out. Synergy makes you better!

Hi there!

This is such a sad picture, but also has hope! Thank you for doing what you do. It's inspirational. I as well aspire to have my own rescue one day. I have taken steps to get started and I hope you will connect with me. Please feel free to follow me at dogsofagoodsociety.blogspot.com. Thanks!

Life Of Susan, A Dog Shelter Worker and Animal Lover. said...

Hello, I'm a volunteer at my local animal shelter, which luckily is a no kill shelter, only dangerous dogs are put to sleep. This pic brings tears to my eyes, as a dog at the shelter I work at is waiting to be put down, because it's classed as a "Menacing Dog". I admire you, I couldn't work at a kill shelter. Feel free to follow my blog Susejstaffylover@blogspot.com
