A way to look at things...

God's cake....
This is about the best thing
I've ever read as an explanation.
cid:1.2899267431@web120707.mail.ne1.yahoo.com

Sometimes we wonder,

'What did I do to deserve this?' or
'Why did God have to do this to me
?'
Here is a wonderful explanation!
A daughter is telling her Mother how
everything
Is going wrong
, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend
Broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and
Asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the
Daughter says, 'Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.'
'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers.
'Yuck' says her daughter.
'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom!'
'Would you like some flour then?
Or maybe baking soda?'
'Mom, those are all yucky!'
To which the mother replies :
'Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves.
But when they are put together in the
Right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! '
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why
He would let us go through such
bad and difficult
Times. But God knows that when He puts these things
All in His order, they always work for good! We just
Have to
trust Him and, eventually, they will all
Make
something wonderful!
God is crazy about you.

He sends you flowers every spring and
A sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe,
And He chose your
heart.
If you like this, send this on
To the people you really care about.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are
Here we might as well dance!

Hi, I'm a fourth grader from Austin, Texas. I love God's creatures too, especially dogs! I am writing an expository essay about a profession I am interested in. I hate the fact that animals are abused, and I want to do something about it. Could you answer these questions for me about your profession? What are the three main duties for this job? I really appreciate your time!

Pixie -

Dog rescue isn't a profession. At least for me it isn't. I am 100% volunteer and actually have a full time job elsewhere.

If you are interested in someone whose profession it is to help animals in need you may want to talk to someone who runs an animal shelter. Local SPCA or APL or Humane Society. I am sure they would be willing to help you with your project.

Great post and I love your blog! Listen, we are dog trainers in Florida and came across a great article on house breaking a puppy.
Here's the link: http://smartstartdogtraining.com/blog/
I thought maybe you might want to add them as "additional reading" links at the end of your article.

If your readers are anything like me they will love you for it
because those articles were great too."

Thanks

Thanks Tony! I sent the link to the 12 people that just adopted my lab/shepard mix puppies!
