10 year old JRT.. can't keep..

An email I received:

We have a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Jack. He is as sweet as can be, is really great with kids, and has been our baby. We hate to let him go, but for his own happiness, have decided that it is the best thing for him. We now have a 5 year old, and my husband & I both work full-time. We are rarely home, and I'm afraid there is no time for Jack, he spends a lot of time in his kennel-way too much time for an active Jack Russell. Jack needs a home where he can get LOTS of attention and the opportunity to run and get plenty of exercise each day. Please respond to my email address

OMG...what do they mean they "now have a 5 year old?!?!" You don't just birth a 5 year old. What happened when this child was 1,2,3, and 4 years old? Since when do you get rid or your dog when your kid turns 5?! Unbelieveable. They should only be so lucky to have this dog if it is as good as they say it is. God forbid the next dog is a terror, because you know they'll get rid of this one and get another one in 3 years because their kid turns 8 and wants a dog.
I can't stand people. This is why I love dogs..

I really dislike humans like these. Wud they be abandoned/given up when they r aged? We hv many dogs being abandoned over here too. Esp at the park near us. Grrr....
